Bernie DiFiore received his Undergraduate Degree from the University of Cincinnati in 1972 and his Graduate Degree from Syracuse University in 1973. He began a 13 - year career in city management with the City of Dayton, Ohio and ended with the City of Dallas, Texas. Founded, Coordinated Benefits Systems, Inc., he has worked as Executive Director of the Catholic Foundation and President of the Aquinas Funds. For the last four and one - half years, he has served as President and CEO of BenefitMall Inc. Originally a wholly - owned subsidiary of Humana, Inc., BenefitMall is now an independent, privately - held company and is one of the leading distributors of employee benefits to small businesses in the country.
Bernie has been and continues to be active in a number of professional and public organizations. Selectively, these have included local Area Hospitaller, Chairman of the Board of the Pontifical Institute of Liturgy Foundation, board member of Holy Trinity Seminary, Board of Advisors University of Dallas, board member Charitable Accord, Inc., board advisor Missionary Catechist of Divine Providence, and appointed to President Ronald Reagan’s Privatization Task Force.
