XXVII Lourdes Pilgrimage 2012
The American Association’s 27th Annual Lourdes Pilgrimage took place from May 2nd to May 8th.
The Lourdes Pilgrimage has been identified by the Grand Master as one of the most important works of the Order of Malta. Through the pilgrimage, members give witness to their faith when they visit the Domain and pray to Our Lady for her intercession. Knights and Dames show their commitment in assisting the sick and the poor as they work in teams tending to “Our Lords, the Malades”. For many it is a life-changing experience.
Thanks to our Auxiliary member, Michelle Babyak, for taking these photos and posting them for all to view here: http://lourdes2012.shutterfly.com/
